GOD HAS A LONG-TERM VISION FOR NEW YORK CITY
We cannot possibly expect to reach this incredible city without great sacrifice. We aim to take permanent root here and are looking for church partners interested in the same - co-workers who want to dig in deep and make real, long-term impact in NYC. Therefore, when we fill our summer schedule, we prioritize holistic partners. We believe this kind of partnership honors God most and will make the deepest impact in bringing the Kingdom of God to New York. If this is your heart as well - keep reading.

We believe in self-sustaining missions.
Since we are currently supported by partner churches and individuals, we ask our teams to bring $50 per person for ministry money. This will cover all of your ministry expenses while on the field. We ask that a minimum of $500 be given for teams with fewer than 10 people.
Rather than using expensive hotels, we suggest a few more affordable options.
We welcome teams of 15 people. You can check for local apartments that may be able to accommodate your team: www.airbnb.com or www.homeaway.com. There is also a fantastic ministry housing facility right in the middle of our neighborhood. Visit: www.NYSUM.org for more information.
We welcome teams to work with us Monday through Friday.
Feel free to come earlier or stay longer. There’s a lot to do in NYC. Go explore! If you are here on the weekend, we’d love for you to join us at Connection Church for weekly worship, Sunday at 5pm. Also, if you’re interested, a staff member and a couple church members would like to join you Wednesday evening for dinner in our neighborhood. Please consider including this in your schedule. We want your team to get a chance to know our stories and see what God is doing in the lives of our people. It is our desire that church members who join us for dinner not have to pay for their meals. The Wednesday night meal is completely optional. Let us know if you want this included in your schedule.
